At Ample Hills, we handcraft our ice cream in small batches, using fresh, local, all-natural milk, cream and eggs. In fact, our dairy and eggs are so fresh, they were inside hormone-free, grass-fed, happy cows and chickens just a few days before we churned them into ice cream. Instead of relying solely on extracts, we steep source ingredients in our homemade mix, slowly drawing flavors out of vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, peanuts and coffee beans. And yet as serious as we are about our craft, we never forget why we make ice cream-for the kids.
